Background:
Daniel Witten grew up in Kimberley, British Columbia, before coming to Calgary in 2010 to complete his post-secondary education. He obtained two undergraduate degrees in the span of five years, one degree in General Studies with an emphasis on philosophy and another degree in Political Science. After completing his undergraduate degrees, Daniel relocated to Edmonton to attend law school at the University of Alberta. He graduated from law school in 2019.
Professional History:
Upon finishing law school, Daniel completed the first half of his articles in Family Law and the second half of his articles in Civil Litigation. He was called to the bar on September 4, 2020, and then practiced in the field of Civil Litigation dealing with a wide variety of subject matters including contractual disputes, insurance claims, employment disputes, human rights complaints, and municipal bylaw matters. After practicing in Edmonton for over two and a half years, Daniel has relocated to Calgary to continue his legal practice in the fields of Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Wills and Estates, Real Estate Transactions and Family Law.
